Responsive Web design, what is it exactly?
It is the design and development approach that responds to the user’s behavior and environment based upon screen size, platform and orientation.
The practice consists of a mix of flexible grids and layouts, images and an intelligent use of CSS media queries. As the user switches from their laptop to iPad, the website will automatically switch to accommodate for resolution, image size and scripting abilities. In other words, the website will automatically respond to the user’s device; phone, tablet, desktop ect. This type of design, phone first per say, will eliminate the need for a different design and development for each new gadget on the market. The design responds to your device.

The process of creating websites. It encompasses several different aspects, including webpage layout, content production, and graphic design. My designs are responsive.
The art of planning and projecting ideas with visual and textual content. This form of the communication may include images, words, or graphic forms.
The visible elements of a brand (such as colors, design, logotype, name, symbol) that together identify and distinguish the brand in the consumers' mind.
Single page websites are intended to showcase one main idea. A single page website is one that fits on a single page. Single page websites are fully loaded in the initial page load or page zones are replaced with new page fragments loaded from server on demand, making the experience more continuous and fluid for the user.
Showcasing all the content of a website in a single page is a great way to save time for visitors as they won't have to jump from one page to another and the site only has to load once.
